Lea Lea Women’s General Meeting and Luncheon
The meeting was called to order at 11:40 am by Jayne Williams at the Kanaloa Outdoor Pool Enclosure.
In Attendance were Jayne Williams, Jo Quinn, Sandy Mackey, Diane Ilstrup, Pam Miller, Linda Nauman, Jeanene Dickenson, Laurie Hillyard, Myrna Fant, Sara Ito, Julie Adolf, Sharon Long, and Randi Wilson.
Minutes of General Meeting on Jan 13, 2025 -Sandy Mackey( for Laura Miller secretary) gave a synopsis of the meeting. Pam Miller moved to approve the minutes and Jeanene Dickerson seconded to approve the minutes. The motion passed unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Jo Quinn reported a balance of $940.00. ($605 of which is the Hole in One fund and $335 left over). Laurie Hillyard moved to approve the Treasurer’s report and Diane Illstrup seconded to approve the Treasurer’s report. The motion passed unanimously.
New Business:
Tournaments for 2024/2025 -Tournament Chairs reported on their respective tournaments.
Hometown Tournament chair Jayne Williams reported the winner was Jenny Jones for the Hometown Tournament.
Eclectic Tournament chairs Julie Adolf and Sharon Long reported that Randi Wilson was the winner for the Eclectic Tournament.
Pick a Partner chairs Jayne Williams and Pam Miller reported that Laurie Hillyard and Grace won the gross score and Sharon Long and Julie Adolf won the net score.
Club Championship Chair Sara Ito reported that Julie Adolf was the winner of the Club Championship tournament.
Ace of Aces chair Jo Quinn reported the winner of the ace of Aces tournament was Randi Wilson.

Sharon moved to accept by acclimation the slate of officers done.
Discussions/ Comments
Sandy Mackey brought up the problem with the greens at Kona Country Club and suggested a maximum of 3 putts. Myrna said the maximum double net boggy takes care of excessive putts on play days.
Ties : How to handle ties in tournaments. The tournament chair should the players know what the procedure will be.
We discussed how many games each month should qualify for Ace Play. In the winter it was decided to have a qualifying game each week. In the summer if no one is going for Ace use more flexibility in choosing a game such as scramble etc.

Adjournment:Diane Ilstrup moved to adjourn the meeting and Sara Ito seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 12:19 pm.
