Board Meeting
The meeting was called to order by Jayne Williams at 1:35 pm at Jayne’s home.
In attendance: Jayne Williams, Julie Adolf, Randi Wilson, Jo Quinn, Laura Miller and Sandy Mackey.
Old Business:
Minutes were reviewed individually for the previous Board meeting on 3/22/24 and General Meeting on 3/4/24.Julie Adolf moved to approve and Randi Wilson seconded the motion to approve the minutes. The motion passed unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report:
Jo Quinn presented the financial report with a cash balance of $1139.23 as of Oct 31, 2024.. Julie Adolf moved and Randi Wilson seconded to approve the Treasurer’s Report. The motion was unanimously approved.
New Business
Lea Lea dues structure:
We discussed dues for 2025. $90.00 per player for 2025 ($90.00 includes the $30.00 Ghin fee and $10.00 for the Hole in One fund which needs to be built up again.)
Jayne Williams moved and Julie Adolf seconded the motion to approve this amount of $90.00 for 2025 dues. The motion passed unanimously.
Tournament Updates:
Jayne Williams gave a recap of the Hometown Tournament Recap.It was at Makani Golf course and they were very accommodating.
Future Tournaments:
There was a discussion about the tournament chairs being able to pick the course where the tournament will take place.
Jayne Williams motioned and Sandy seconded the motion for tournament chairs to pick the golf course location for the tournament they are running. The motion was unanimously approved.
Future Tournaments:
Pick a partner Tournament has a date change from Jan 23 to Jan 16 and it will be held at Makani Golf Course.
No other tournament Changes.
Web Site updates: Sandy Mackey said there is no more Cognito. We still have our website to view Tournament dates, roster and minutes. Sandy said she is going to clean up and update the website.We will communicate by paani email.
Randi Wilson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 3:30 pm and Julie Adolf seconded it.
