Standing Rules

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR SPECIAL TOURNAMENTS:

All participants must be members in good standing.  She must have turned in a minimum of four (4) completed 18-hole scorecards for Lea Lea events within the twelve (12) months preceding each Special Tournament. 

ALLOWED HANDICAP:

A maximum handicap of 36 will apply to all play regardless of handicap as reported by the USGA handicap system.

PLAY:

• Golf course will be noted on the day’s sign-up sheet, usually Kona Country Club.
• Play Day’s jackpot will require a donation determined by the Chairwoman.
• Games, pairings and tee off line-up are at the discretion of the Chairwoman.  Any member not honoring pairings and/or tee off line up will be disqualified from the competition.
• Players who wish their net score to be eligible for Ace of the Month must participate in the regular Thursday game and pay their regular fee ($5) for that particular game.
• If Putts are counted the player counts putts once the player has made a stroke from the putting green.  All subsequent strokes are counted as putts, even if she putts off the green.

GUESTS:

A member may bring guests with advance permission from the chairperson.  Guests will not be included for day’s play monies.  A guest will be limited to 4 times in any calendar year and will play with her hostess.  Placement in the line up will be at the discretion of the chairperson.  Visiting former Lea Lea members will be allowed to play without a sponsor, with permission of the chairperson.

SPORTSMANSHIP:

The Rules of Golf and Golf Etiquette will be observed and enforced.  If a group fails to keep its place on the course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it MUST invite the group following to pass.
